With more than a decade of experience in the strata industry, JM (John Martin) founded Bettr Strata to offer a more transparent, practical approach to strata management. After years working in corporate strata, he saw firsthand where systems failed owners, committees, and staff, and where better judgment and clearer governance could make a real difference.

Bettr Strata was established to focus on the fundamentals: clear communication, accountable decision-making, and service without conflicted incentives. The aim is simple – to manage strata properly and consistently, without unnecessary complexity.

Changing your strata manager might seem like a hassle, but it’s smoother than you’d expect.

If you're on the Strata Committee

If there are concerns with your current strata manager, start by discussing them within the committee. Where there is agreement, the committee can propose a change and follow the formal process at a general meeting.

We can assist with providing a proposal and supporting documentation to ensure the transition is handled properly and transparently.

If you're not on the Strata Committee

Owners who are not on the committee can still raise concerns by engaging with committee members or requesting that matters be discussed at a general meeting.

If a change of manager is being considered, we can provide a proposal to the committee and support an orderly transition. We believe in open communication and do not support blindsiding existing managing agents.
